2 trans people held for snatching purse with 10K in cash
The MGR Nagar police have arrested two trans people for allegedly snatching a purse containing Rs 10,600 in cash from a woman on October 9.

The accused I Shailaja (21) of Pulianthope, Lakshya alais Kavya (21) of Pulianthope were remanded in judicial custody on Thursday.
Police said that the accused stopped their two-wheeler near Thenmozhi, a resident of Choolaipallam, when she was buying flowers at the market and sought alms.
When she took out her purse, the trans people snatched it and fled the spot. Based on her complaint, the MGR Nagar police registered a case and secured the suspects on Wednesday night with the help of CCTV footage. Rs 5,500 was seized from them before they were remanded in judicial custody on Thursday.
Three held for robbing pedestrian
The Kumaran Nagar police arrested three men for attacking and robbing a pedestrian. S Balamurugan (27) of West Mamabalam was returning home from work late on Sunday, when he was intercepted by three men on a bike onJones Road.
They allegedly asked Balamurugan to part with his valuables. When he refused, they attacked him and robbed him of 3.25 sovereigns and his phone. Based on his complaint, the Kumaran Nagar police registered a case and secured the suspects with the help of CCTV footage.
They were identified as M Praveen (19), S Saran (19) and P Sathish (22), all residents of Saidapet. The valuables were recovered from them before they were remanded in judicial custodyon Wednesday.
