Trader hacked over pigeon sale

He is involved in selling racing pigeons and reportedly sold one to Syed Dhamim Meeran, a biriyani shop owner, recently. However, owing to some reason Syed wanted the pigeon back, but the Meeran refused to return it.

In the argument that transpired, Meeran’s employer Abdul Rahaman interfered to strike a truce. But Syed ended up attacking both. Infuriated by this, Rahman pulled out a knife and attacked Hussain on his head and face. Hussain has been admitted to Royapettah Government Hospital with injuries. The Ice House police have registered a case.
