Couple ‘offers’ job in BSF for Rs 1.6 L

According to the complainant, G Venkatesan, who works in a private gold loan firm, he recently befriended Lakshmi, a resident of Saidapet, when she came to pledge her jewels. A few months ago, Lakshmi, claimed that her husband Govindarajan was a Border Security Force personnel and promised Venkatesan that she can get him a job in the department in Delhi. For which, the couple asked Venkatesan to pay Rs 1.6 lakh and he paid the amount. The couple went missing after that, the police said.
