Ex-students’ morphed visuals on porn sites, principal seeks help
The principal of a private college in Sowcarpet approached Kothavalchavadi police station with a complaint saying that the photograph of a group of nearly 10 former students was morphed in an obscene manner and uploaded online by unidentified people.

In his complaint to the Deputy Commissioner (Flower Bazaar), the principal alleged that a group of students have complained to the college authorities about their pictures being morphed and posted online.
Police noted that the students had taken the group picture during a farewell function held in the college two years ago, and uploaded the photos on Facebook and Instagram. As the woman students started getting obscene calls, they checked online sites and were shocked to find their morphed pornographic visuals online, the link of which was shared by an anonymous user.
The suspects have uploaded morphed pictures on porn websites, too, police said. They created into a slideshow of nude images, with an audio messages urging the users to contact them, noted the complaint.
Police are trying to crack the case by tracking down the IP address of the person who uploaded the image, and details of his logs. The case may be handed over to cybercrime wing, which is more equipped to handle such cases, an officer noted. As of now, Kothvalchavadi police station has registered a case.
