Popularise voters’ app, Corpn to partymen

According to a Chennai Corporation statement, the request was made during a meeting with the representatives of the political parties. “The members of the political parties should approach the residents in their locality to create awareness about the smartphone application,” G Prakash, Chennai Corporation Commissioner requested in the meeting.

The statement added that the voters could make corrections till September 30. “The corrections made by the voters will be verified by the booth level officers (BLO) before releasing integrated draft roll, on October 15.”

Apart from the smartphone application, differently-abled and senior citizen voters can make corrections by calling 1950, voter facilitation centres and e-Seva centres. Voters should provide their EPIC number and valid ID proof to make the corrections.
