EPS to embark on 3-nation tour from tomorrow
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will embark on a two-week tour to three foreign countries to attract investments to the state in various sectors.

An official release here on Monday said Palaniswami, heading a team of Ministers and officials, would begin his tour on August 28 with a visit to London and from there he would visit the United States and Dubai. During his visit, he would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kings College Hospital, London, to set up its branch in the state.
He would also meet several investors, including Hinduja at an event, besides visiting wind mill and solar power facilities to study the feasibility of implementing those in the state and on easy transportation of power to the grid. He was also scheduled to meet British MPs during his visit. From the UK, Chief Minister Palaniswami would reach New York on September 2, where he would interact with the Tamil diaspora and entrepreneurs and also the officials of Ford Motor Company, Caterpillar Inc., San Francisco-based Bloom Energy officials to attract investments. On his way back to India, he would visit Dubai on September 8 and 9, where he would address a meeting of entrepreneurs to be organised by the Indian Consulate and Business Leaders Forum, as a special guest. He would return to Chennai on September 10.
