The most expected rain is finally in Chennai

The Western Ghats areas are receiving rain due to the Southwest monsoon and in places like Nilgiris, Coimbatore and Theni, the rivers are flooded due to the heavy rains.

For the past week, the Southern districts are experiencing rain due to the Southwest monsoon.

In Chennai, Guindy, Ashoknagar, Ekkatuthangal, Kodambakkam are receiving heavy rain from morning. Porur, Valasaravakkam, Nunga,bakkam, Teynampet are also experiencing rain.

It has been raining in Vellore and other places surrounding Chennai from Midnight.
