Pop-up allows people to pose for Insta-worthy clicks

Having witnessed several pop-ups and photo booths around the world for Instagrammers to have a gala time clicking selfies, Shamshad Begum of Buva House decided to bring the concept to our city as well.

Named Happy Wappy Place, the pop-up hosted about 15 different installations — from walls filled with hundreds of spinning pinwheels, life-size comic strips, superhero masks to mirrored spaces for reflective selfies. The space allowed dozens of youngsters and adults to click the perfect pictures. A silent disco, wherein people could put on their headphones blasting music was a crowd favourite.
