Duo snatch SETC conductor’s bag

The police said the bag had tickets worth Rs 20,000 and nearly Rs 10,000 in cash.

Venkatachalam (37), conductor of Tambaram-Kancheepuram SETC bus, was standing on the road while passengers were boarding the busaround 4.30 am.

Two men on a bike approached him on the pretext of asking for the timing of the bus and snatched his bag.

A complaint was filed at the Tambaram police station, who are trying to identify the robbers with the help of CCTV footage.
