Daughter of deputy CM’s driver commits suicide

The deceased B Nivedhitha, a Class 12 student, was the daughter of Baskar (44), who is the driver of Deputy Chief Minster O Panneerselvam. Nivedhitha, reportedly went inside her room on Friday night and did not to step out even after hours. When the door was broken open, she was found hanging from the ceiling. She was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The body was sent to Royapettah GH for autopsy. On information, the Saidapet police registered a case. Preliminary inquiry has revealed that she had medical complications. “She had brain tumor and is suspected to have resorted to the extreme decision unable to bear the pain,” said the police.
