Search on in Chennai for missing 15-year-old girl from Bihar
A police team from Patna, Bihar, is camping in Chennai to trace a 15-year-old girl, who is believed to have disappeared from Perambur.

The school girl from West Champaran district in Bihar had left her house on June 11 with her neighbour Manisha Kumari (18). From then on, the 15-year-old girl remained missing. After her family members and NGO volunteers managed to trace her to Chennai, a police landed in the city in search of the missing girl.
Manisha Kumari is alleged to have ‘sold’ the girl for Rs 400 to a man in Secundarabad, who in turn sold her to Prakash Yadav in Chennai.
Based on the confession by Manisha Kumari, who is injured and admitted at Guntur GH in Andhra Pradesh in an attempt to escape from a moving train, the NGO volunteers and the missing girl’s relatives came down in search of the her. They traced Prakash Yadav, who had allegedly handed over the girl to a man named Ansari at Peravallur.
The Bihar police team took Yadav in custody and took him to Bihar where they have registered a kidnap case. Police are now looking for Ansari and the 15-year-old girl.
