Truck runs over 36-yr-old techie near Pallavaram
A 36-year-old techie was run over by a tipper lorry near Pallavaram on Saturday. The deceased, Sujith of Zamin Pallavaram, a software professional working in a firm OMR, was returning home on Saturday morning after night shift, said the police.

When he reached the Echankadu signal on the Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Radial road, a two-wheeler came in his way.
Sujith who lost his balance while trying to avoid hitting the other two-wheeler and fell down. He was then run over by a tipper lorry. The lorry driver fled while shocked passersby rushed Sujith to a nearby private hospital. Doctors, howevr, declared him brought dead. St Thomas Mount traffic investigation police sent the body for post-mortem examination at Chromepet government hospital. A case has been registered.
