Kin attacks trio to avenge murder of history-sheeter
A few days after history-sheeter Karuppu Pandian was hacked to death by a gang in Ennore, his kin on Tuesday attacked three men with a machete suspecting that gave information to the assailants about the whereabouts the deceased.

The accused Thamizh, brother-in-law of Karuppu Pandian, attacked Murugan, Harikrishnan and Dinesh, residents of Tsunami quarters in Ernavur, under the influence of alcohol and fled the spot, said the police.
Shocked neighbours rushed the trio to the Stanley Medical College Government Hospital where they are undergoing to treatment. The Ennore police have registered a case and have launched a hunt for Thamizh. Karuppu Pandian (33) was hacked to death outside his house by a six-member gang on June 22 over previous enmity and six suspects were arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
