Man falls from 2nd floor, dies
A 47-year-old man who went to meet a friend in an apartment, under the influence of alcohol, died after he slipped and fell from the second floor in Kodambakkam.

The police said that the deceased, Ragupathy (47) of JJ Nagar, was working as a server in a hotel. While Ragupathy did not go to work for the past few days, he had told his family that he was going to meet a friend on Tuesday night. When he was at the apartment at Bharatheeswarar Colony, he allegedly slipped and fell from the building and died on the spot. The Vadapalani police have registered a case and sent his body for autopsy.
