EPS treated for dehydration, toothache at hosp
State officials on Wednesday cancelled Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s scheduled review meetings and inaugurals of buildings as he was suffering from severe toothache and dehydration.

The CM, who was treated at a popular corporate hospital in Chennai, was discharged as an outpatient after routine check-up, sources said. In his absence, Higher Education Minister KP Anbalagan and Revenue Minister RB Udayakumar chaired review meetings. While the formal engagements were cancelled, the CM interacted with government officials at his camp office and enquired about the status of water distribution, party sources said. He also interacted with AIADMK cadre who are facilitating events to induct new members from other parties.
DMK leader Durai Murugan was also admitted at the same corporate hospital. He was treated for high blood pressure and geriatric complaints. He also had slight fever and was advised a day’s stay at the hospital.
