Chennai gets 50 a/c buses to tackle summer

The Tamil Nadu government has planned to counter the summer by introducing 50 air-conditioned buses for the city. This move is for the comfort of citizens reeling under summer. But, this will mostly benefit the tired MNC employees back from work.  

The volvo bus plans were first engendered by the DMK. These A/C buses were of less use for the commoners, which after 5 years of run around the IT hubs, lost its sheen.

This move was fostered by the request kept to the government by the Transport department. Taking heed of the quantum of public's need, the government sanctioned 50 buses.
