Gang robs mason of Rs 29,000 at Nungambakkam, hunt on
A four-member gang allegedly attacked and robbed a man of Rs 29,000 on Nungambakkam High Road on Sunday night. The police said that the victim, Syed Ali, a native of West Bengal, works as a mason in the city.

On Sunday, he was returning to his room in Nungambakkam after getting his salary of Rs 29,000. When he was walking on Nungambakkam High Road, four men on two motorbikes allegedly attacked him and snatched the money, said the police. Based on his complaint, the police have registered a case and further investigation is on. The police are going through the CCTV footage to tracethe suspects.
