J Beena Priscilla, founder and CEO of SkillsTech Services Private Ltd, Guduvanchery, lodged the complaint with the Inspector General of Police, North Zone and it was forwarded to the Kancheepuram District Crime Branch forinvestigation.

The other involved in the case were identified as Radhakrishna Nallapati, Chief Financial Officer of Apollo Medskills, K Prabakar, Ex-CEO, Karthik Radhakrishnan, Finance Manager, Sridhar Srinivas, Chief Marketing Officer and Pulijala Srinivasa Rao, CEO of Apollo Medskills. All of them were booked under Sections 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (using forged as genuine) and 420 (cheating) of the IPC.

In her complaint, Beena Priscilla claimed that K Prabakar and Sridhar Srinivasan met her brother Philip Christopher, Director of SkillsTech, in December 2013 seeking their company to provide business advisory and business support services in the field of education and vocational training for Apollo Medskills. She mentioned that this came after the Apollo Medskills failed to implement the National Skill Development Corporation’s fee-based courses.

SkillsTech was meant to identify government projects, prepare applications on behalf of Apollo Medskills to procure them and secure skill development contracts from various government agencies. According to them, the accused promised the victim to pay Rs 1 lakh per month as consultation fee apart from other benefits as commission. However, without entering a formal contract, Apollo Medskills started extracting work from SkillsTech and paid in an erratic manner, complainedthe petitioner.

Meanwhile, SkillsTech continued work for Apollo Medskills till 2016 without regular payment and helped the firm acquire champion employer status. However, as there were no replies to mails regarding the payment, SkillsTech stopped its services by the end of 2016. To their shock, they received a notice from Apollo Medskills that there was payment due from their end to SkillsTech. To prove their claim, they had also attached invoices of SkillsTech.

However, Beena Priscilla claimed that the invoices have forged with fake seals and the same has been confirmed by an expert committee. When contacted, Kancheepuram DCB police said that they are looking into the allegation and further inquiry is on.

Reacting to the development, sources from Apollo Medskills said that this is a baseless and untrue allegations and has been done with an ulterior motive.
