Missing girl traced, reunited with parents
Nearly a month after a girl went missing from Aminjikarai, police traced her to Tripura and have reunited her with her parents. The girl, a Class 8 student of a government girls higher secondary school in Aminjikarai, went to a nearby shop from school to buy chocolates on March 15.

But she did not return even after three hours. While her father, an auto driver, lodged a complaint at Aminjikarai police station, a team launched a hunt for her and traced her to Tripura. A team of police personnel rushed to Tripura and rescued her. She was reunited with her parents on Thursday. Further inquiry is on whether she was kidnapped, or she went on her own.
