Madikeri is also known for its Raja’s seats and royal tombs, the latter of which is located atop a hill. The area also boasts of rich wildlife, particularly elephants. Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary is the place to go to if you are an animal-lover. Chelavara Falls is an area that might be of interest to bird-watchers. Madikeri also offers jeep rides through its terrain, giving a wholesome roundup of the place to itstourists.
