Chief Election Commissioner and his team meet political representatives in Tamil Nadu
While Lok Sabha election is around the corner, the Chief Election Commissioner and his team have assembled in Chennai to overlook the election procedures.

It was earlier announced that the parliamentary elections will be conducted in 7 phases in India.Â
The electoral norms are being followed since the date of announcement. Electoral observers are appointed to overlook the electoral violations if any. Flying squads were also formed to curb illegal cash flow.
Meanwhile, Chief election Commissioner Sunil Arora along with the Commission executives Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra, met the recognised political representatives of Tamil Nadu, on April 3.
This meeting was attended by R S Bharati (MP) of DMK, Elango, Chandran of DMDK, Thirumalaisami of BJP, Dhamodaran of Congress and Karate Thiagarajan.
