The outlet serves ice creams and sorbets on a stick, making it the very first eatery in the city to exclusively serve popsicles. The hand-crafted natural ice creams come in some standard and quirky flavours and are perfect to eat on the move. Not just that, customers can personalise their Froststicks by first choosing the flavour, then adding toppings and finally choosing a dip of their choice.

While the normal flavours featured are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mango, coffee and almond, some of the offbeat ones can really surprise customers. Among kiwi to black grapes and a lot of other juicy mixed fruit combinations, the watermelon sorbet really stands out. Shredded coconut, apricot puree and custard apple are the other choices.

“The best part is that all the products are priced between Rs 100 and Rs 150, which makes it really affordable for college students like me,” says L Manikandan while busily demolishing a Volts Frostick. When asked what it tastes like, he explains, “It’s a combination of black currant, white chocolate and red velvet — never did I think I would try out and enjoy such an offbeat combination!”

Ganesh, who has become a frequent at the kiosk, says, “My partner spotted it when we had come shopping a month ago. We weren’t sure of what to expect, but we decided to try and now I come here at least once a week. There are many options in terms of flavours and the smooth texture of the Froststicks really surprised me.”

The kiosk is located at Forum Vijaya Mall, Vadapalani, and is open from 11 am to 9 pm on all days.
