Three men arrested in 2 Pocso cases

The police arrested Rajendran (62), a saloon owner, for sexually abusing an eight-year-old neighbour.

The crime came to light after the girl complained of stomach ache. “After a medical examination, it was found that the girl was sexually assaulted,” the police noted.

The police have also arrested Sundar (54), Rajendran’s friend, who had also sexually assaulted the girl.

“The duo lured the girl to the saloon and sexually abused her,” the police added. A case has been registered and the Avadi all women police arrested the duo.

In another incident, the Saidapet police have arrested a gym instructor for sexually abusing a Class 10 student for the past three years.

The police said that the victim’s mother has been going to Paal Mani alias Justin’s gym near her house.

He had been visiting the victim’s house and sexually abusing her.

The incident came tolight when the minor complained about this to her father recently.

The father, who is working abroad, returned to the city on Wednesday and filed a police complaint. A case has been registered and Justin was arrested.
