19-yr-old, mom, uncle arrested under POCSO Act
A 19-year-old youth and two of his family members were booked by the city police under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping a 13-year-old girl and sexually assaulting her.

The police said that the accused, Dhanasekhar of MGR Salai in Nanganallur, runs a roadside eatery near a government school. He was in a relationship with a Class 8 student of the same school.
A few days ago, the girl went with Dhanasekhar to his house after school. The police said that he kept her there and sexually abused her.
Meanwhile, A missing person complaint was lodged by the minor’s parents. The Shasthri Nagar police arrested Dhanasekhar from Adyar bus depot on Tuesday and the girl was found in his house.
Dhanasekhar’s mother Sathya (40) and his uncle Alagappan, who were involved in keeping the girl in the house, were also arrested under POCSO Act.
