CMRL conducts health camps at two stations
The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), in association with the Rotary Club of Alandur and SRM Group of Hospitals organised free medical screening camps at the Metro rail stations at Alandur and Ashok Nagar.

The general health screening and dental check-up were conducted for the benefit of the public, especially Metro passengers, and also for the staff of the corporation. The camps were held between 10 am and 5 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, said a press release from CMRL.
A team of doctors from the SRM Specialty Hospitals, Ramapuram, and a team of dentists from SRM Dental College conducted preliminary check-ups.
As part of the camp, blood pressure was screened, while random blood sugar and heart rate were also checked. In all, 435 passengers and staff benefitted from it.
