Engg student robbed at Park railway station
A 20-year-old college student lost his mobile phone and a wallet to an unidentified trio, who attacked and robbed him at Park railway station on Tuesday night.

The victim, V Abinesh, is a third-year B Tech student of Anna University, police said. The incident happened around 11.30 pm on Tuesday, when he was on his way to meet a friend in Kotturpuram.
According to police, three youngsters surrounded him and threatened him to part with his valuables. When he resisted, they attacked him, injured his face, and escaped with his mobile phone worth Rs 10,000 and a wallet containing Rs 30.
Abinesh was treated at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital and lodged a complaint with the Egmore railway police.
A case has been registered and a hunt has been launched for the suspects.
