Student rams median, falls to death from Kathipara flyover

The deceased person was identified as E Roshan Antony Samuel, a resident of Madipakkam. He was a third year B.Sc Visual Communication student at a private college in Potheri, said the police. 

On Wednesday afternoon, Roshan travelling from Madipakkam to Vadapalani on his two-wheeler for some personal work. When he was on the Kathipara flyover, he lost control of the bike and hit the median. In the impact, he was flung off the bridge. After an alert from the passers-by, the Mount traffic investigation police rushed him to a private hospital. However, he died without responding to the treatment, said the police.  The body was sent for post-mortem examination to Chromepet Government Hospital. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
