Woman held for duping man of 25 Lakh
A 38-year-old woman on Friday was arrested for cheating a man of Rs 25 lakh in the guise of selling him a land. The police have also launched a hunt for her husband and father-in-law.

Nearly a year ago, Suresh (42), his wife Dakshayini (38) and his father of Pudhur in Ambattur approached Magesh (42) of Madhavaram to sell a land measuring 32 cents in Madhavaram for Rs 32 lakh.
The trio allegedly received Rs 25 lakh but refused to register the land in Suresh’s name even though he was ready to pay the remaining sum. Later, he realised that he has been cheated and filed a complaint with the Madhavaram police.
After registering a case, the police arrested Dakshayini while the other two accused are absconding. A hunt has been launched for them.
