    British Council to host Study UK Fair

    The British Council, UK’s international organization for educational opportunities and cultural relations, is hosting a ‘Study UK Fair’ on Sunday.

    The fair will provide information about the scholarship options available to students, including the recently announced phase 2 of 70 th Anniversary Scholarships for women in STEM.

    It will also be a platform for students and parents to meet top UK universities under one roof.


    The event will also see informative seminars by UK academics on various topics and study opportunities in the UK, scholarships and special visa sessions by UK visa and immigration officers.


    The fair will operate as an open platform for parents and students to clear doubts and queries regarding studying in the UK. Representatives from different UK universities will be able to provide complete, end-to-end overview of applying to a UK university, student life in the UK and employability options afterwards.


    The fair will allow the attendees and aspirants to clear all their doubts about all studying in the UK – the courses available, scholarships, affordability, the best universities, application and important dates, fees, employability, visas and job opportunities.


    Students will learn about the various combined degrees, top-up degrees, conversion courses, sandwich courses and integrated degrees offered by UK universities which are available to them.


    Apart from their own personal queries, students and parents will also be able to clear a lot of myths surrounding a UK education. For example, at the fair, attendees will get to know that UK is a more affordable study destination than both the US and Australia or how a UK education readies a graduate for employability acrossthe world.
