Chopped limbs found in dump yard to be sent for DNA test
The city police has decided to send the chopped legs and hand of woman found at the Perungudi dump yard for DNA test at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

According to police, the DNA details could be of use if somebody came forward claiming to be relative of the deceased. The body parts were found in a gunny bag when a garbage lorry from Power House area in Kodambakkam was disposing of waste at the dump yard in Perungudi.Â
Police found the right hand was inked with dragon, Sivan and Parvathi tattoos, while one of the legs had mark of a toe ring (metti) which was removed. The body parts were sent to Chrompet GH. Police have alerted all police stations in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts and are gathering the details of woman missing in an effort to identify the victim.
