Man ransacks traffic booth
Traffic police are on the look out for an unidentified man who broke open a locked traffic police booth in East Tambaram near the railway station and ransacked the booth on Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening, a couple of traffic policemen after their duty came to the booth to change their clothes and found the place ransacked.
The policemen found driving licences and the vehicle registration certificates (RC book), confiscated from the riders, scattered on the floor. While examining the clutter created by the man, the police were shocked to find some of the documents thrown in the nearby drainage. The police personnel immediately removed all the documents from the drainage.
Based on the CCTV footage, police found the man to be in his forties. The man has broken the lock of the booth and went inside around 3.50 pm. The traffic police are yet to register a complaint with the local police. They are trying to nab the man on their own with the help of the CCTV clip, sources said.
