Man booked for sexual harassment of step-daughter

Kilpauk all-women police have booked a man for allegedly sexually harassing his step-daughter. The accused has been identified as George Fernandes. The 36-year-old mother of the victim had married George Fernandes after her first husband abandoned her and their two children. However, after Fernandes allegedly made sexual advances with her daughter, the woman separated from him and stayed in Shenoy Nagar. But he approached her again recently apologising for his behaviour after which they reconciled. But when his harassment, the woman contacted the office of Indian Council for Child Welfare, TN, in Shenoy Nagar and reported about the matter. As per their advice, she lodged a complaint at Kilpauk AWPS. Police said that George Fernandes will be arrested soon.
