3-year-old boy abducted, hunt on for 2 women

Prakash of Bogipalayam, a labourer in the fish market, left his son Ajay at Chennai Urdu Primary School around 10.30 am, where the latter is studying Pre KG. Two women visited the school around 2.50 pm and asked the teacher Menaka to send Ajay with them as they were related to him. On suspicion, Menaka called her mother Duragadevi.

His mother got deceived by one of the woman’s name – Devi and told the teacher that they were her relatives. Following this, Ajay was sent with them. When Prakash went to the school as usual to pick his son up in the evening, he was told that the boy’s relatives took him home.

However, Ajay did not come home even after hours, Prakash lodged a complaint at the Pulianthope police station. A hunt has been launched to trace the two women and police said that Ajay would be traced overnight.
