Trio held for grabbing land using forged docus
The police have arrested three persons for illegally transferring the ownership of 7.5 acres of land worth Rs 20 crore in Neelankarai using forged documents.

The police have arrested three persons for illegally transferring the ownership of 7.5 acres of land worth Rs 20 crore in Neelankarai using forged documents.
Based on a complaint from a 68-year-old woman, sleuths from the anti-land grabbing wing of Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested the men. They were identified as A Adhi Munusamy (52) of Okkiyam- Thuraipakkam, K Nandakumar (57) of Thuraipakkam, R Selvakumar (56) of Thousand Lights.
The trio allegedly submitted forged documents for the land and registered a sale deed in their names and the actual owner N Niraselvi (68) of Anna Nagar East did not know about it. Based on her complaint, CCB registered a case. After the preliminary investigation, the three accused persons were nabbed recently. They were remanded in judicial custody on Saturday, said sources.
