Woman lawyer ends life

The deceased was identified as D Pavithra, a resident of Pozhachalur near Pallavaram. She was a practising advocate in the high court. Pavithra married Kannabiran (29), who runs a gym in Pammal after being in a relationship with him. 

They were staying in an apartment in Polachalur. Police said that they used to fight often after marriage. 

On Tuesday night, Kannabiran returned from the gym and knocked the door. As there was no response, he broke open the door and found Pavithra hanging from the ceiling. She was rushed to nearby hospital where the doctors declared her dead on arrival.  Further investigation is on.
