Rear tyre of MTC bus bursts, two injured
Two passengers of an MTC bus were injured after its rear tyre burst at Madhavaram on Thursday.

The victims, Munivaradhan (31) and Raman (36), were admitted to Stanely Government Hospital and police said that they are out of danger.Â
The incident happened around 1.30 pm at Madhavaram junction when the MTC bus (route No 57) was proceeding towards Vallalar Nagar from Redhills. The inner tyre on the right rear end of the bus burst and the victims, who were seated above the tyre, sustained injuries after the wooden slab on the top of the tear shattered in the impact.Â
Other passengers were panicked seeing the victims’ bleeding injuries and they got down from the bus. Munivaradhan and Raman were rushed to the hospital. The Madhavaram traffic investigation wing police have registered a case and investigation is on.Â
