Tech solution to monitor vehicles of Chennai Corporation

The fleet management system, developed by Madras Security Printers, would help to monitor the vehicles for efficient operations, reduce the operation cost and fuel usage. 

Given the fact that the Corporation’s engineering department uses thousands of vehicles for its daily activities, the solution would help the civic body to improve control over operation and expenses, a release from Madras Security Printers said.

The fleet management solution was developed to monitor the vehicle maintenance, driver, accident, asset and fuel management and vehicle usage. Fleet management system is a technologically advanced method of asset monitoring. It has emerged as a widely used application in developed countries and has had a major impact in developing countries like India. The Corporation is increasingly using several IT initiatives to enhance the operations and provide the services to the public and it is one of the pioneers in using technology.
