269 seats filled in vocational stream at Veterinary university
A total of 269 seats were filled during the general counselling for vocational stream seats at the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University were filled on Tuesday, said an official release.

State Minister for Animal Husbandry Udumalai K Radhakrishnan presented the admission orders to the top-ranking candidates, namely, Srikarthika P, a graduate from Erode, who had scored 199.67 marks, Nandini V (199.33 marks), Praveenkumar G (199 marks), Poojidha M (199 marks), Devi Sri M (198.75 marks), Tamizhkodi T (198.50 marks), Rajeswari N (198.33 marks), and others.Â
Counselling for admission to the BVSc and AH degree courses for this academic year had already begun on Sunday. It may be noted that for the 306 seats available in the Veterinary Colleges located in Chennai, Namakkal, Orathanadu and Tirunelveli, a total of 12,107 applications were received of which, 10,289 applicants were found eligible. While the seats under special categories and vocational stream were filled on Sunday, the remaining 269 seats were filled on Monday.
