Rajinikanth's forum dismisses reports of secretary being sacked
Rajini Makkal Mandram, the nodal body for all Rajinikanth fan clubs across the state, has dismissed reports that there is internal trouble in the upcoming party, at a time when their leader Rajinikanth has just returned from months of shooting.

Amid rumours that secretary Raju Mahalingam (formerly Creative Head at Lyca Productions) had been sacked from the Mandram due to issues with the ongoing membership drive and appointment of office-bearers, Chief Coordinator of the Mandram VM Sudhakar released a statement asking people not to believe the rumours on social media and that all was well within the Mandram. Similarly, Raju Mahalingam has also stated that he is very much still a part of Rajinikanth’s core team and that he also met the Kaala star after his return. Raju will be part of a series of internal discussions that will be held this week with Rajinikanth on the party launch and a celebration for crossing one crore members joining Rajini Makkal Mandram. The membership drives are expected to intensify over the next month, with the team keen on winding up the programme and releasing an official survey of their work over the last seven month since established in January.
