Pedestrian robbed of gold, phone
A 24-year-old man was robbed of his four-gram gold chain, Rs 2,000 in cash and a mobile phone by a three-member gang on Radhakrishnan Salai in the wee hours of Saturday.

F Boopendar Yadav (24) of Teynampet told police that he was passing by the AVM Rajeswari wedding hall around 12.30 am when a three-member gang intercepted him in an autorickshaw and forcefully took him on board. Later, they threatened him at knifepoint and robbed his valuables before dropping him underneath the nearby flyover.
Based on his complaint, Mylapore police have registered a case and are searching for the gang with the help of CCTV footage.
