Skillknox’s tech training programme to start in Chennai
To bridge the gap between demand and supply of experts in emerging technologies, a US based education and technology company, Skillknox, will soon be launching a programme to train candidates, in India. The programme will kick start from Chennai on May 19.

The company will be focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, AR/VR/MR, Intelligent Automation and Data Science, by bringing together a team of academicians, technology experts and content creators from multiple locations across the globe. They have partnered with Ken and Headway and Mindstone in India.
“Skillnox programmes have been designed to build future-proof careers in emerging technology and have been endorsed by experts in the industry. All candidates, who go through our programmes, are expected to work on live projects and apply the skills developed,” said Vijay Raghuphathy, founder and director, addressing the media at a gathering.
Students will be trained in the certified courses and real-time projects. Those who go through these programmes, are placed as interns for three weeks in start-ups and innovation labs, in partnership with Mindstone, and organisations like Gieom, Cogknit, Codeworks and Cultyvate.
“Most of the start-ups, who work with emerging technologies for various companies across the world and the hub, are in India. There are very few people to perform this task, but the demand is tremendous. This is the gap that we are trying to fill here. It’s like trying to feed and future-proof them”, said Raghuphathy.
Research and advisory company Gartner claims AI will add 2.3 million jobs across the globe by 2020. Experts are expecting a 60 per cent increase in demand for AI and machine-learning specialists in 2018.
Skillnox also offers innovation-focused technology skilling and certification programs, with a team of experts and leaders who have decades of experience in both education and technology fields.
Skillnox offers is the combination of following three pillars of success Skillnox is planning to start a branch in Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Hyderabad to train around 1000 students approximately. The cost for the course will be from Rs 25,000 to Rs 75,000. Education companies can now tie up with Skillnox for their clients and students.
