Accordingly, the document of ‘A ready reckoner for enhancing placement activities’ has given several instructions, including the role and responsibilities of placement representatives, tips to face interviews and possible HR expectations. The university will also ensure the contact details of the placement officer in all the department brochures to have single point contact.
The authorities will collect complete details of each student, including data on SSLC, HSC, Semester wise performance, community, history and current arrears if any.
The institution has also decided to gather aptitude questions and interview questions to create a question bank and provide a training facility.
The document urges the students to visit the company website before attending the Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) to get a clear idea. The university also asked the students to avoid wearing Jeans, T-shirts and half sleeves.
“Students should neatly dress before attending the interview. Make sure you maintain the dignity and decorum of the institute,” it said and asked the students to avoid contacting the HR directly. “It should be through CUIC only,” the document said.
The students were also asked to avoid passing bad comments or remarks about the College or University of staff during interviews.
Listing out the frequently asked questions, the document also listed HR expectations with regard to the candidates.
Recently, Infosys conducted a campus interview at Anna University where more than 15 candidates were selected by the company.
