Conference on parasitic diseases in animals held
An international conference was organised by the Tropical Council for Companion Animal Parasites (TroCCAP), Australia, and the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS), at the College recently.

The focus of the conference was on the diagnosis of endoparasites and vector borne parasitic diseases prevalent in the tropical countries with emphasis on the Indian scenario. The latest advancements in diagnosis and treatment were dealt with in detail by the speakers. Experts from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, New Delhi, Sikkim, Goa, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Assam and other states took part in the conference.
