Amaresh Pujari to head CB-CID

In a fresh shuffle, the state government on Wednesday appointed Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Amaresh Pujari as the new chief of CB-CID, in the place of K Jayanth Murali, ADGP who has been asked to take up the job of director, DVAC.

The department had also posted a new joint commissioner of police for west zone, Chennai. A communication from the state Home Department said that Abhash Kumar, Additional Director General of Police, Technical Services has been transferred and posted as the new ADGP, crime, in the place of Amaresh Poojari. 
ADGP MN Manjunatha, director, DVAC, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, technical services. 
B Vijayakumari, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Modern Control Room, Chennai police has been promoted as Deputy Inspector General of Police and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, West Zone, in the existing vacancy. 
RK Upadhyay appointed Forest Force chief: 
Meanwhile, in top level reshuffle in the Forest department, RK Upadhyay, presently the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) - Research and Education, has been appointed as the PCCF (Head of Forest Force) in place of H Basavaraju. The latter was posted as the PCCF - Research and Education. TP Raghunath, PCCF(Social Forestry and Extension), Chennai, is posted as PCCF and Chief Wild Life Warden, Chennai, in the existing vacancy.
