NTK man held for damaging police vehicle
A 27-year-old member of Naam Tamizhar Katchi was arrested on Monday after he allegedly pelted a stone at police patrol vehicle near Mambalam bus terminus.

The arrested was identified as S Karthik, from Natesan Street in Triplicane.
Police had chased and caught him around 3 pm on Monday when he tried to escape after pelting stone patrol vehicle (TN01 G 5782) a Toyota Innova. Police said that the front wind shield of the vehicle was damaged in the attack.
Bomb hurled at VCK office
Unknown men hurled petrol bomb at the office VCK in Ambattur on Monday evening and escaped in a vehicle, the police said. According to the police the bomb failed to explode and so no damage was caused by the action. “The incident happened at around 4.45 pm at the VCK office located near by the police station. No damage was caused,” police said.
