Youth held for misbehaving with minor

The accused, identified as M Krishnamoorthy alias Vallarasu of Ezhil Nagar, already has assault and robbery cases pending against him. 

In a recent incident, he reportedly attempted to misbehave with a minor girl in his locality. The girl returned home in tears. When her worried mother asked her what had happened, the girl explained the incident to her mother. She immediately approached Kannagi Nagar police station and filed a complaint against the boy. Police filed a case against him based on her complaint. Officers said the allegation against Krishnamoorthy was established during the investigation. He was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
