3-day meet at IIT-M to inspire new entrepreneurs

This is IIT-M’s annual flagship event for new and upcoming entrepreneurs. The campus-incubated companies will also take part in the event. The programmes would give new perspectives and ideas to future job-givers, a press release issued here said.

The summit will also see E-Connect, a new inter-college event being hosted by IIT-M. E-Connect will be a common platform of idea exchange for entrepreneurial committee representatives from institutions such as IITs, BITS and IIITs. The meet will try to foster a spirit of integrity and pool in resources, skills and opportunities. The aim is to enable start-ups to compete on the global platform in a stronger way. This will also facilitate cross-mentoring. 

There will be talks and panel discussions on various entrepreneurial aspects. Aspiring entrepreneurs will get an opportunity to interact with erstwhile entrepreneurs who are now successful enterprise operators. The latter will share their business models and success stories at the event.
