Its alumni include personalities in governance, Politicians, world renowned Economists, Judiciary, Bureaucracy, corporate and sportsmen.”
After receiving the award, Dr Mani said, “I accept this honour and award with humility, as this college has produced alumni that are highly eminent. What we need to do is to make the best with that which we have, not just for ourselves, but for those around us, with all honesty and integrity. This was taught to us here in Tambaram and it holds good for life”.
Similarly, Suresh Krishna said, “We need to enhance the quality and standard of life in India and this can be done only by creating jobs. If you can teach them creative skills or provide jobs, you are giving that family an opportunity to pull up their standard of living by working. While we pass through life, we always need an integral moral compass, one that will guide us and a standard that we go by, without compromise, one that should become a part of our daily life”.
Dr RW Alexander Jesudasan, Principal, MCC welcomed the gathering and expressed his delight in having these eminent personalities back on campus.
