Two boys drown in lake
Two 17-year-old boys drowned at Chembarambakkam lake on Tuesday. The deceased have been identified as Thilak of Alapakkam and Gowtham of Mangadu.

The duo along with their another friend, all students of a private polytechnic college in Moulivakkam, went to the lake to celebrate the latter’s birthday. Thilak and Gautham entered the deeper side of the water and drowned, even as their friend tried to save them. Kundrathur police have registered a case.
