RMC: Fishermen to steer clear of sea till Tuesday
With the trough of low over Southwest Bay of Bengal having transformed into low-pressure, Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted rains with strong winds in southern parts of the state. Meanwhile, RMC has issued yet another bulletin, warning fishermen not to venture into the sea for next two days.

According to the bulletin, rain or thundershower is likely in a few places on Monday and is expected to continue till Tuesday in many places over South Tamil Nadu and South Kerala.
“Rainfall at many places with isolated heavy falls are possible on Monday. Fishermen are advised not to venture into sea off south Tamil Nadu and adjoining south Kerala coast over Comorin area and the Gulf of Mannar on Monday and Tuesday,” the bulletin warned.
A low pressure over the Bay of Bengal is likely to move gradually West-northwestwards become well marked over the Comorin area and adjoining southeast Arabian sea. It is likely to concentrate into a Depression over the southeast on Monday.
